Mapping our Ecologies // ecoacoustic recordings

(2024-) • Combining field recordings, psychogeography, deep listening, ecoacoustics, rituals, found objects, immersive environments, radio, biodata and more
The Inquiry

What happens when we step into the unknown realms of our inner and outer landscapes? BOG! a haunting? the quiet euphoria? the unknown realm? water ritual? lovely (jub)bubbly? This project is an ongoing experimental archive exploring site-specific ecology through sensory translation, tuning into the shifting vibrations and watery rituals of our environments. From the rhythmic breathing of a bog to utilizing wind-bent grass as a literal tuning fork, the work listens deeply to how earth-systems communicate.

Practice-Based Research as a Site of Care

Operating as an audio diary and field laboratory, these recordings are a counter-extractive practice of slow attention. They form a living sensory archive of inner and outer landscapes, shared internationally through independent podcast ecosystems. Explore and listen below.

immersive online nature walks connecting my fave things: ecology, embodiment, sound, care + community building. interdependence in action!

most recently, an online interactive, immersive and participatory walk in nature was part of Jane’s Walk London Festival 2024.
