mapping our ecologies // sound walks

(2024) • Interactive, immersive + participatory between site-specific and temporal space, sonic + somatic spacemaking, experiments in sanctuary + community building, combining embodiment, psychogeography, deep listening, ecoacoustics, rituals, found objects, immersive environments, radio, biodata and more

The Inquiry

How do we practice interdependence in action when moving through site-specific and temporal environments? These immersive online and physical nature walks connect ecology, embodiment, sound, care, and community building, inviting participants to explore their surroundings interactively and map their own relationships to place.

Practice-Based Research as a Site of Care

This methodology functions as a practical, soft explorative lab where people are invited to come as they are. A key milestone includes my interactive, participatory walk in nature facilitated for Jane’s Walk London Festival 2024, alongside long-running historical walk recordings, offering people accessible tools to experience sensory spacemaking as an ongoing tool for community resilience.
