The Inquiry
i built a radio station! i don’t mean the practice of mixtapes since i was 5yrs old (although i honour younger me in the practice of making weird radio!) FEELINGS radio is a hub of sonic experiments which is live 24/7!
It was initially to coincide with the launch of my immersive installation Portal of Pizzazz ✨ with u in spirit at Cental Saint Martins in February 2024. It contained satelite events, socially engaged socially engaged sound experiments live from the opening as well as workshops, phone ins, voicenote archives, poems, international psychogeographic walks and my radio show FEELINGS, but it lives on and includes sound walks , songs from the singing tree, some ecoecoustic recordings , art club workshops and more!
Practice-Based Research as a Site of Care
Because the work cannot be done, FEELINGS radio lives on as a permanent platform running 24/7. It is designed to be an open, completely accessible site for sonic experimentation and collective storytelling beyond any single exhibition's run. It currently hosts and broadcasts community sound walks, songs from The Singing Tree, ecoacoustic recordings, alternative critique workshops, and my regular music show, FEELINGS.
